The Lewis Family- Scottsdale Family Photographer

I photographed my last sweet family this morning for my 2014 family portrait season.  And while I felt an immediate relief, I will say that I am a little sad the season has come to a close.  I love spending time with all my families, I love seeing how big the kiddos get each and every year.  As stressful and as busy as the season is, there really is nothing like the joy you feel when you get an email from a mom telling her how much your pictures made her cry.  You know that good cry of course!  I love that and I love what I do!

So while I can give my camera a little break from shooting, my computer of course is still at it editing and editing away.  My next sweet family is the Lewis Family!  I photographed these two beautiful people at their wedding many many years ago.  They were so adorable and still are and now have 2 little boys that just steal my heart!

The Adame Family- Scottsdale Family Photographer

 Tonight I got a little break from editing.  My daughter's teachers holds an annual Christmas movie night with all of his families.  So we all packed in to the media center at school, brought tons of dessert for the kiddos and snuggled up to watch A Christmas Story. It was a ton of fun for all of the families and a nice way for us to get together.  I was actually surprised to see that most of the class had shown up.  For some reason I thought we might have been the only family there.  But it was nice to see everyone there to make some memories!

Now on to this adorable family.  I am so excited to share their session with you!  I have known this family for many many years and I just love seeing them together!  It wasn't that long ago that we had two little ones these ages running around too.  Awe, sniff sniff :(

The Amideo Family- Scottsdale Family Photographer

Remember those days years ago when your kiddos were so small that you could actually Christmas shop for them while they were seated in the cart.  Maybe even a few times you let them actually play with the item in the cart while you continued to shop.  Yep those days are long gone.  I have to get really sneaky when I shop, how I shop and where I hide everything.  It's awful lately.  They both keep asking questions when I am gone or why I won't take them to the store with me.  I try really hard to go when they are at school and some nights I wait til they are asleep to run to Target.  Whew, what a lot of sneaking around- Just two more weeks!!

I thought I'd share the Amideo Family with you.  These two little boys were quite the hams and every time I asked mom and dad to kiss, they let me know exactly how they felt about that- LOL!  Lots of fun in their pictures, you can view more by clicking their slideshow here!

The Goyette Family-Phoenix Family Photographer

So my last weekend of shooting is this weekend and the weather calls for rain. UGH!  I almost made it out of my busy season with no rain.  A few years ago I swear it rained every weekend and there was a lot of rearranging and bringing some umbrellas into the pictures.  They were still adorable but it definitely adds some stress to me.   Don't get me wrong, I love the rain, just not when I have sessions scheduled.  So I will continue to pray and cross my fingers and just show off these adorable families to you!

The Goyette Family has these adorable twins, full of personality.  Great with my camera and so photogenic!  They even showed me a great game of thumb war!  I think I grabbed some tips on how to win the next time I play :)
