Darre and Don are getting hitched- Phoenix Engagement Photographer

Even though I was married 11 years ago, when I hear how Darre and Don are getting married, it makes me want to do it all over again.  Oh I am so in love with their wedding.  Small, intimate, just close friends and family.  In a beautiful outdoor nature setting... um yes sign me up please!  So even if I can't get the hubby on board for another wedding, I guess I am going to have to live through Darre and Don!!

We headed out to do some Engagement pictures and she brought along her two little ones.  So much fun!  I love this age because they are my kiddos ages so we were just on the same page!

Darre and Don are getting married in September and I am truly excited for them.  These two are totally made for each other and it's so sweet to see how much they adore each other!

aimee+luis Scottsdale Engagement Session

We put our Christmas decorations up yesterday!  I am so excited.  We transform our home into a winter wonderland, or so we like to imagine!  Over the years we have hoarded collected so many Christmas nic nacs, and stuffed animals. It's kind of funny how excited I get to put them up and usually the day after Christmas I am ready for them to come down.  It gets too over crowded and by that point I need some space.  But for now I loveeeeeeee it all and can't wait for Christmas. Our next project will be to put up all the decorations and lights on the outside.  Last April I started to back up out of the driveway and looked up into a nook of our roof and noticed there was still a strand of Christmas lights hanging.  Mike must have missed the strand.  Well it turned into a joke for us and Mike decided to leave it up for the year, how in the world did our HOA not say something?  Now he tells everyone he is ahead of schedule this year.  Hopefully through all the rain and storms through out the year the strand is still working.  I'll keep you posted on that!
Here is Aimee and Luis' engagement slideshow.  They are getting hitched in March.What a sweet sweet couple, well I guess with both of them being teachers they have kind hearts and seem so gentle spirited.  I am looking forward to their big day :)

Sarah & Robert Engaged- Phoenix Wedding Photographer

Third time is a charm for Sarah and Robert's session. Poor things had to be rescheduled twice because of rain. What in the world? I tell you Phoenix has had some crazy weather lately. I had this vision in my head for their location and I was so bummed every time there was a ton of rain. So luckily the third time provided lots of sunshine so we could do what we needed to do!

On top of the great weather, she works as a cake decorator at the best bakery in town! Sugarlips Cakery. I get the kids' birthday cakes there every year and they never disappoint! Sarah was so sweet, she brought me cupcakes from there! What a doll :) Totally made my day.

Sedona & Chad are Engaged!

So last night we all gathered around the dinner table to eat. We all had had a pretty crazy week last week and it was so nice to all sit down and catch up and spend some time with each other. It was Hunter's turn to say the prayer and after thanking God for all the food on the table, he thanked God for being able to play the Wii that night. Mike and I smiled and told him what a wonderful prayer he said. We gave each other the look as if to say we have the cutest kids in the whole world.
