I went to the grocery store on Thursday morning. I even took both kids- how daring was that? And in my cart I threw in a bag of pretzels on top of the normal weekly grocery list items.
Later that night after hours on the computer (it's been one of those weeks) my lovely husband who had been nibbling on pretzels after dinner, put one in front of me. And when I looked down I noticed he had made it into the shape of a heart. I looked up at him and smiled and felt a wave of happiness flush over me. Isn't that the sweetest thing? No words spoken, I love you was spoken through his gesture and my thank you was in my smile. He walked away, I shut down my computer and went to sit with him on the couch.
