Wednesday, April 24, 2013

It's back!!!  Our Mother's Day Portrait Special is back and is always a huge hit!  This special is only for moms and their little ones, or big ones, whatever.  All kiddos welcome!
This special is just for the month of May so if you are thinking about getting your mom something special for Mother's Day or you are wanting this for yourself, contact us!

With busy lives it's hard to capture memories and a lot of the time if you are like me as a mom you are always behind the camera.  I have a ton of pictures with my husband and the kids on vacation.

So here is your chance to shine with your kiddos.  Call us at 800-284-3699 or email us at mandy@mandyhank.com to book your session!

Bernedette's Mother's Day Session- Chandler Family Photographer

Wednesday, May 23, 2012

I give some major props to this little mom, not only does she have 3 BOYS!!! but she showed up looking lovely as ever and I made her track through the mud in her wedges.  Her boys had white on and I'm not sure how they were so good to not get mud on their shirts.  Hunter would have dove head first into that mud, which is again why I only have 1 boy :)

I'm so glad I was able to take these pictures for her.  As a mother our kids are always are biggest love, accomplishment, journey, passion and even sometimes our biggest headache.  But I know we would all do it all over again no matter what and wouldn't trade motherhood in for anything in the world.  It's an amazing gift and I'm so glad to have shared it with her!

Thank you Bernedette!  Happy Mother's Day :)

2012 Mother's Day Portrait Special

Wednesday, April 11, 2012

So I say this all the time, my husband sucks at taking pictures.  He just doesn't think about picking up the camera to take pictures which always means that lil' ole' me has no pictures. I am always left out of our vacation pictures.  Drives me nuts.  But I get it, poor Mike is probably a little overwhelmed at handling one of my cameras.  So when we do have our pictures taken I really do make it a point to have my picture taken with the kids.  And I cherish those pictures so much.  So I am giving all you moms in the same boat a nice little gift to ask for this Mother's Day.  And if by chance you are a husband thinking this would be a perfect gift to get your much deserving wife then just do it.  She won't be expecting this and she'll love you forever for it!! :)

Summer here we come!

Wednesday, June 02, 2010

And just like that, I woke up Reagan for her last day of Kindergarten, I drove her the last morning to school as a kindergartner and kissed my Kindergartner goodbye. In just a few short weeks my baby girl who isn't a baby girl anymore will start 1st grade. Where did the time go by? It's amazing and sad and wonderful and overwhelming all in one. Her school had a cute little celebration this morning. They were all on stage, signing cute little Kindergarten songs, and a little teary eyed, I whispered to my mom,
"I feel like it was just yesterday I dropped her off for her first day of Kindergarten."
My mom replied,
"I feel like I just dropped you off at Kindergarten," We giggled a little bit but thinking about that now, it won't be too long before I'll be sitting next to Reagan and watching my granddaughter sing her songs. It's surely something I look forward to in the far far future but for the moment I'm just enjoying my 6 year old.
Next summer my little man will start Kindergarten and I'm still not quite sure how I feel about that one. In a little way I feel like I'll be having a part time empty nest. Maybe it prepares you a little bit for the big time empty nest when they all move out.
Just thinking about it tears me up but I sure am proud of how much she grew this year. How much smarter, more social, more mature and more observant she is! It was a wonderful year and I look forward to the next 12! :)

Speaking of adorable daughters, I met up with Alicia and her daughter Maddie this past weekend to do my Mother's Day Mini Session. Two adorable little blondes, oh I just love it!!!! Take a look at these adorable pics :)
