Brandi and Daimion's Wedding- Calistoga, CA

Friday, August 03, 2007

WOW! Everything I expected about this wedding came true. I knew going into this I was going to have so much fun and it was going to be a beautiful wedding. Brandi is Daradee's sister who's wedding I shot in December of last year. So I had some experience with this family. They are so outgoing, laid back and a blast to be around. Not to mention they really make you feel welcome in their family.
We flew to Calistoga on July 21st to shoot this wedding. Their wedding was held at Hans Fahden vineyard in Calistoga. It was beautiful. The reception was held in a cave that held wine barrels, so everything was lit with only candlelight. The venue had a gorgeous lily pond, a vintage bridge and great wine too.
I was so excited to see her parents again, if you remember from their last family wedding I told you they were great dancers and they moved like they were 20. I couldn't wait to photograph them again.
I was a little sad though when I realized all the girls in the family were married now. I guess I'll have to wait for the little ones to grow up.
Thank you so much Brandi and Damion for such a wonderful wedding. I know I can always count on your family to provide a good time and great dancing. I wish you two a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations.
You can check out their slideshow here. Password in Grant.
