Go Cardinals!!

Monday, September 17, 2007

Boy we had a lot of football this weekend, after the Hamilton High game on Friday our good friends Brooke and Jeremy who have season tickets to the Cardinals games asked us to go with them for the home opener. I have known Brooke since high school, in fact our boyfriends in high school were best friends. Funny how those relationships didn't last but ours has.
I had never been to the new stadium so I was really excited to go, and we got to do something alone without the kids which isn't easy to do. It was really nice.
I think Brooke and I talked more than we watched the game but I think that is what girls are supposed to do right? Every time I looked on the field they were doing the same thing I had seen earlier. Besides it being really hot inside we had a lot of fun!
When we first got there and parked I had to take a picture. Check it out below. To the right is Jeremy's new pickup, looks a little odd next to the miata, we actually could have used the roof for a stepping stone. Ha!
Our ride home was a little adventure that took us through South Phoenix, but we made it through and are now able to add it to the funny memories book. And thanks to Brooke I have a bruise on my forehead from a football that ricocheted off her husband- don't ask!!!!
The stadium was really neat and the guys even found The Melting Pot food station and got us some yummy chocolate dipping desserts!! Yum
Thanks so much Brooke and Jeremy for taking us- we always have so much fun with you and enjoy our time together! You two are truly great people and we are so glad you are in our lives!
Oh yeah, sorry again Kevin that your Seahawks lost!

Here's Jeremy's parking job!!!!

The cool alien ship stadium
