Meet Andrea, John, Jordan and Cassia. Andrea called me a few months ago to do her family portraits but wanted to wait until this month, so we have been emailing each other back and forth. She was a referral from my good friend Brooke. She had seen her family pictures back in October and liked them so much she wanted some too.
I was really excited to meet them, especially after I found out that Andrea is an aspiring photographer. Of course I like her already. You'll have to check out her blog when you get a chance.
Normally I try and find out what families like to do, what are they comfortable doing and I'll usually suggest that. Whether it's taking their kids to the zoo, or going to the park, whatever.
The Whittle Family likes to window shop so I took them down to The District which is out at Tempe Marketplace. It's perfect, outdoors and lots of neat places to take pictures. They also enjoy getting ice cream so of course we stopped by Cold Stone Creamery. Jordan was really happy about that part.
I had a great time getting to know all of them and am looking forward to watching Andrea grow as a photographer.
