Welcome Miss Penny!

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

I know I have said this before but being in a home with a new arrival is such a blessing.  There is so much calmness in the air, so much love in the air. It's as though the world has stopped on the outside.  The home is quiet and the attention is on one thing and one thing only.

Meet little Miss Penny.  She is such a beauty and has really stolen the hearts of mom and dad.  Don't you just want to eat her up?  I know that Penny's parents are just going to have a ball watching her grow and loving her.

Oh sweet little man Colby, you are too cute for words!!  Colby had some big shoes to fill for his first photo session.  His big sister Saige was an absolute angel when we did her session.  She literally never moved and slept the entire time.  Colby did great though.  He woke up towards the end of the session which I am sure is the boy in him.  But he was just too cute, you can't help but fall in love!!

We brought big sister Saige in for a few!!

Welcome Baby Claire- Chandler Newborn Photographer

What is it with little boys and dirt?  Seriously it attracts to them easier than girls.  Hunter can take a shower and I swear be dirty again in 30 minutes just sitting in his room.
The other night at one of his baseball games, they hadn't wet the ground before the game so the dirt kept kicking up.  It was horrible to watch, such a dusty game and the boys were just standing in it the whole time.  Hunter came up to bat and tripped and rolled at first base.  A cloud of dust followed and fell on him.  He ran around the bases, came into home and slid.  More dirt. In really good in the pants.  As he was walking to the dugout one of his coaches held up his hand to give Hunter a high-5.  When their hands met a cloud of dust puffed in the air and we all busted up laughing.  It was like he was Pig Pen from Snoopy.  Oh that boy was dirty and to think I still had to force him to take a shower because. "I am not dirty mom!!!!". UGH!!

Sweet little girls like little Claire are so clean and smell so good.  She made her debut in September and was so good during our shoot.  What a cutie!!

Welcome Hudson!

Thursday, October 10, 2013

I had baby fever for a long time after Hunter was born.  Always wanting another little one.  The feeling passed a few years ago.  Once we hit the kids crazy schedule era, there was no way I could do the baby thing again.  So now when I see babies, I think "oh my goodness they are so cute!, But I don't want to do the diaper, stroller, up all night, spit up thing."  I'm good... until I met Mr. Hudson.  Oh what a cutie.

He is just a sweet sweet boy.  Of course he was perfect during my time there which made the pictures awesome but my baby fever issue, not so good :)

Last year Kathleen and Conner married, I captured that.  I met them again a few months ago with her baby bump and captured that.  And now I get to meet Hudson and see how their little family has grown.  I am so honored to be a part of that!  It's so special I get to be a part of so many great memories for them!

There is an overload of Hudson- sorry I couldn't help it.  He is just too cute for words!

By the way, look at this adorable mobile over the crib.  Kathleen made that- seriously, adorable!!

Someone's not too happy!

Look at those blues!  Oh you just want to eat him up!

Congrats Kathleen, Conner and Hudson!  Thank you so much for letting me come and meet him and capture these for you :)  Wishing you all a lifetime of happiness!
