Our Vacation-Days 4-6

Tuesday, January 17, 2012

So after San Diego, we took a day off from the craziness of theme parks and drove up the coast a bit to LA. We stopped in San Marcos to see some Mike's aunt, uncle and cousin. That was great, we hadn't seem them since we got married. We ate lunch together and then drove up to Dana Point. We have some friends there that Mike grew up with as a kid back in New York. We spent the afternoon with them and really had a good time. It was a nice relaxing break in between all the standing in lines and walking around.
The next three days were spent at Disneyland! Seriously one of my favorite places in the whole wide world :) I really just love it there! We hadn't been in about 2 years so I was itching to go. Plus Hunter was a lot bigger this time and was able to ride the big people rides. I was excited about that and so was he until he actually went on a few of the big people rides and it scared him so bad. Poor little Hunter. Hopefully next time he'll enjoy it!

Toon Town!

Waiting to go on Space Mountain

Love Reagan's smile on this ride. Do you notice that Mandy isn't on the ride. I hate the Tea Cups. They make me sick. And even worse our the stupid Rockets- blah!

Be careful, don't get too close because you know what happens

The little monster eats your hair!

A little Phineas and Ferb action!

Hunter loved the army men from Toy Story

Oh I just love that place and can't wait to go back again! :) I miss it already

Our Vacation-Day 3

Friday, January 13, 2012

Our third day was spent at the San Diego Zoo,which I had never been to before but was really looking forward to. I have heard it's gigantic and beautiful. And that is was for sure. I wish I wouldn't have taken more pictures of the animals but we actually took the bus around the zoo to save some time so it was a little difficult to grab pictures through a moving bus. But here are a few from the day

This little poser stood still for me so I could grab his picture, it was like he was a professional :)

This guy was just out in the open for everyone to see- love his colors!

This crazy animal was with us on our whole vacation. Needed a little nap time apparently.

This is the panda they have there- actually they have 2 of them. So beautiful and interesting to watch.

Here is Dr. Harold...??? who knows?

The polar bears was something else I really wanted to see. They are so big and powerful. Just looking at their paws amazes me.

Our Vacation-Day 2

Thursday, January 12, 2012

On our second day we went to Sea World. The last time I was there was when Reagan was about a year and half old. Sea World has always had a special place in my heart. My dream job growing up was to be a marine biologist. I wanted to work with dolphins more than anything in the world. Even now I can watch them for hours and hours and just love how beautiful they are.
Some friends met up with us on our vacation, so my kids had a extra special time!

Here is Hunter, Alaina and Reagan

Some adorable little penguins swimming around

Our tour guide, Mr. Hunter. He just had to tell us where we were going at every map he saw.

Santa was still at Sea World so the kids got to thank him for our trip :)

The trainers don't get in the water anymore with the killer whales so they make it a huge big splash show. Thankfully we were smart and were way up on top. I feel so bad for some of those folks down there.

My favorite show of the day of course. They incorporated a lot of the trainers diving, doing flips in the water as well and more acrobatic type things. It was a great show!

Sweet little Emma, enjoying her stroller ride

We went to a Polar Express 4D that they had at Sea World. Hunter cracked me up with his little pose.
